SafetyCT collects personal data. In this statement we explain what data we collect and for what purpose we use it. This applies to personal data collected from the data subject as well as to personal data received via third parties.

Categories of personal data and processing purposes
SafetyCT processes the following data for the following purposes:

Processing applications
In order to process requests (by telephone, email or via the website), the following data is processed: name, position, email, telephone number, address.

Processing orders
When processing orders we use the following data: name, position, email, telephone number, address, account number.

Recruitment and selection
Application letters and CVs are processed during recruitment and selection. For a number of positions, this can be further supplemented with an assessment and statement regarding behavior.

Legal grounds
SafetyCT processes personal data if permission has been given. This is the case, for example, if a contact form is completed on the website, or if a user account is created. Furthermore, SafetyCT processes personal data if this is necessary to establish or execute an agreement with a customer and/or a supplier. This is, for example, the case when a quote is requested. Finally, we store data that is necessary to comply with our legal obligations.

Receivers
In some cases, SafetyCT will share personal data with parties that play a role in the execution of agreements, such as suppliers or carriers. We enter into processing agreements with these parties that stipulate how the parties must handle the personal data.

Transfer of personal data to a ‘third country’ or international organization
‘Third countries’ are all countries outside the EU, with the exception of countries in the European Economic Area (EEA). These are Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland.

SafetyCT does not transfer personal data to a third country.

Retention periods
SafetyCT stores your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes we state in this privacy statement or to comply with legal (storage) obligations. Personal data is not kept longer than necessary.

Our retention periods include:

If you are (were) a SafetyCT customer, we will retain your data for 7 years after the end of the agreement;
If you have contacted us, but have not concluded an agreement, we will keep your data for 3 years;
Personal data that are necessary for possible legal proceedings can be kept for as long as they are necessary for the procedure.

Rights of the data subject
You can submit a request to SafetyCT to view, receive, change or have your personal data deleted. You can also object to the (further) processing of your data. If SafetyCT processes your personal data based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. For all these matters and for other questions, please contact us at info@safetyct.com.

If you believe that SafetyCT is acting in violation of the applicable laws and regulations regarding personal data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (P.O. Box 93374, 2509 AJ THE HAGUE).

Automated decision making
No automated decision-making takes place at SafetyCT.

Other
SafetyCT has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.

From time to time it will be necessary to amend this Statement. SafetyCT has the right to do that. We recommend that you check this Statement occasionally for any changes.
