VACANCY: XAMARIN.FORMS.NET DEVELOPER (32-40 hours)

Because we then integrate these solutions into the customer’s processes, they provide clear added value to daily activities.
We are currently looking for a driven and passionate developer, specifically for our mobile GIS products. This includes our vehicle viewer, navigation application and the creation and management of digital accessibility maps.

The jobtitle
We are going to expand our GIS development capacity. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for developing and maintaining your own GIS and control room applications. This includes our vehicle viewer, navigation application and the creation and management of digital accessibility maps. These applications are mainly used by the emergency services (Fire Department, Ambulance and Police) in the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark. In addition to software development, the team also takes care of implementation at the customer.
The team is characterized by a high degree of initiative, flexibility, creativity and passion for safety. Partly because of this we are able to maintain and strengthen our market position. Your contribution is essential.
Your profile
You have at least a completed HBO education (computer science or equivalent) with HBO/WO work and thinking level. You are analytical, communicative (oral and written) and have a good command of the English language. You are curious and like to stay informed of the latest developments. In addition, you can work both in a team and independently.
You have knowledge of and experience with:
- HBO/WO werk- en denk niveau;
- Microsoft Xamarin en/of Xamarin Forms Microsoft ASP.NET Framework, ASP.NET Core of hoger;
- Microsoft Entity Framework of Entity Framework Core;
- SQL Server.
An advantage on your profile:
- Experience with GIS applications;
- Affinity with emergency services (for example fire brigade volunteer);
- Affinity / knowledge of the safety sector;
- OpenLayers;
- Angular;
- HTML/CSS;
- JavaScript;
- Spatial standards, such as GeoJson, GeoPackage, etc.;
- Spatial databases, such as SQL Server Spatial;
- Event Driven architecture and message brokers such as RabbitMQ;
- A real hands-on mentality;
- An abstract mindset. You are able to see the whole picture.
